FlexScreen is designed for plastic (uPVC) windows that open inward, such as tilt & turn windows, with a frame rebate of at least 15 mm depth — which covers the vast majority of windows installed in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. The screen sits fully inside the window frame, so it even works behind roller shutters. Sizes from 200×400 mm up to 1500×2000 mm are available made to measure.

FlexScreen is not suitable for flush windows, wooden windows, aluminum windows or windows with a protruding weather profile — these leave too little space between frame and sash, and the mesh can be damaged when the window closes. Windows with a center seal need a gap of at least 10 mm all around. Ventilation grilles in the frame rebate can also be in the way. When in doubt, send us a photo before ordering.

Yes — that's one of the main reasons FlexScreen exists. Nothing is drilled, screwed or glued. The frame holds by tension alone and leaves no trace when removed.

Yes. The screen sits in the outer rebate of the fixed frame, so the sash operates exactly as before: tilt, turn, close and lock.

Open the window fully and measure the inside of the window frame: the width at the narrowest point and the height, in millimetres. Our measuring guide walks you through it step by step, and we double-check unusual measurements before production.

No — that's the beauty of FlexScreen. The frame sits hidden inside the window rebate, invisible from both inside and outside. All you see is the mesh, so it fits any window color without matching.

Black is the proven classic: a fine black weave with excellent see-through contrast. Ultra is an ultra-fine, high-transparency weave that lets through up to 25% more light and air and is nearly invisible.

The frame is forged from high-carbon, oil-tempered spring steel with a robust PVC coating and is tested for over 10,000 flex cycles. The mesh is vinyl-welded to the frame, so it can't come loose or sag. FlexScreen is virtually indestructible and needs minimal maintenance.
